Brickworld 2017 - Recap
This was my seventh time attending Brickworld Chicago. When you've been going for long, it becomes far more about the friends you've made and the new people you meet than the ABS bricks that bring us together.
The weekend is a fucking whirlwind of build prep, setup, frantically trying to get people organized to go get food, doing set drafts and alt builds, trying to set personal records for how late you stay up, avoiding public hours by any means necessary, tear down and packing, good byes of all varieties and spending the last few moments of sunday playing bedtime chicken to see who will cave and go to bed first.
Thanks to all the old friends for continuing to make this week amazing and to the new friends I meet each year that help to make each year more fucking epic than the year before. Those tagged fall into this group along with numerous people others that stuck out this year, thanks guys <3.
So. That's was fun. We should do it again sometime.
