1993 Buick Century Custom Wagon
Buick's FWD A-Body intermediate Century offered value priced Special, midlevel Custom and premium Limited series for 1993. Sedans were available in all series, wagons in Special and Custom lines and coupe Custom only. A driver air bag was now standard on Custom and Limited, optional on Special. At 74.4 cubic feet (EPA cargo volume index), the Century and Cutlass Ciera Cruiser were roomier than many midsize import wagons of the 1980s and early 90s as well as the K-cars, though smaller than Fairmont/LTD and Taurus.
A-Body production was based in Oklahoma City starting in 1982 through the end in 1996, with wagons following in 1984 (assembly plant closed in 2005 and now an aerospace production facility).
