20 years ago the Panamanian government built a road that connected the Caribbean and Pacific coasts of its western provinces. This road came within miles of one of the largest Nobe villages. After the completion of the road the Panamanian government built this bridge that spanned one of the rivers separating the village from the road.
The day I took this picture I brought the kids a soccer ball and we were kicking it all over the place. I just happened to snap this picture as they were going across the bridge.
