1950s Israeli Clone of LEGO Automatic Binding Bricks
These appear to be an early Israeli knockoff of the Kiddicraft bricks/LEGO Automatic Binding bricks. Seller said they were from the 1960s, but I suspect 1950s. The Hebrew translation of the toy's name is "Miracle Building Blocks." The 2x2 and 2x4 bricks are slotted, and there are some windows and doors that fit in the slots. The 2x8 brick does not have slots. The label on the back of the box has what the seller described to me as being a luxury tax that appeared in Israel in the late 1940s and 1950s.
Not sure how these would have appeared in stores or how the bricks would have been laid out in the boxes.
