Permanent, non biodegradable, plastic pollution is damaging the environment nd poisoning the sea. There are a floating plastic rubbish dumps in the sea and plastic bags in space. It is killing hundreds of thousands of animals every year – that’s everything from livestock who accidentally ingest it when rummaging for scraps and sea birds who feed it to their young. It costs a fortune in clear up costs and it looks awful. All this so we can have a new bag every time we go shopping.
