Two Hundred Seventy.

After roughly nine years of owning this awesome vintage dining set (thanks grandma!), today I finally got around to recovering the chairs. The original vinyl matched the table (you remember - the green table that you've seen in a bunch of my pictures). But they were recoverd in this really dark, ugly green vinyl long ago. Today I saw why. The original seats are ripped to hell and taped up. I've been wanting to recover them since I got them from my grandparents' basement nine years ago. But for various reasons (see: lazy, procrastinator) I never got around to doing it. Today I just got the itch, so my mom and I went to the fabric store and I walked out with this awesome outdoor canvas fabric. I freaking LOVE them. They're each a little different, which I love. And there is a green dot (the partial dot you see wrapping around the very back of the chair in the outtakes posted in the comments) that EXACTLY matches the color of the table. The blue dot I'm standing on matches our walls. The rest of the colors go perfectly with our decor. Could not possibly be happier about these.

Well, ok, I guess I'd be slightly happier if I'd thought to get some foam batting to put under the fabric. But other than that, I'm totally in love with them. Totally brightened up our place.
