Day 1 recap

Michelle Obama's speech was so amazing last night. I was listening to

her talk about how much her family means to her as tears streamed down

my face. I believe the emotion came from listening as a daughter, a

mother, a sister and a women who believes with her whole heart that we

can achieve the dream of making our country a better place. And then

those darling little girls stole the show. It was such a real family

moment. It was a great start to the convention.

I ended the night at Speaker Pelosi's party and was serenaded (along

with hundreds of others) by Tony Bennett. It was magical. Sorry

about the lame picture but I am having trouble emailing from my laptop

and can only use pictures on the iPhone untill I get it straightened

out. Day 2 reports coming up!
