Close up of Jumper/Dress top

Close up of the jumper top - heh, i forgot, there are still chalk marks on it! whoops!

 

the one big mistake i made was the top piece of trim - i sewed it on before sewing the lining on. so the lining is actually a tad over the top of the trim (the inside lining is some duck fabric she got from her nana years ago! finally had something to use it one!

 

Those are also just decorative buttons (thank god - every time i try to sew "usable" buttons, i can't make 'em strong enough)

 

but that blue trim was PERFECT for the edging , i am So glad i found it.
