Morphologous word tag - new word added 20/7

A tag with a difference, you don't need to be all deep and meaningful, or personal at all...but you can be if you want to. Just keep it clean, purlease, and write a list of words that rock your world!

Choose as many or as few of your fave words, 1 or 20 or however many, and say why you like them. One of my fave things is keeping words alive.

Here goes mine, my list shall grow as I remember my faves! these are my words, but this is not my pic!

PLEASE DO POST YOURS< NOT JUST SNEAK A PEEK OF MINE AND GO ON YOUR MERRY WAY!!!

1. KNICK-KNACKERY

knick-knacks is what my home is stuffed full of. Love 'em all!

2. EPHEMERA -my ephemeral knick-knackery is out.of.control.....

3. DIAPHANOUS

SERENDIPITY. I believe in it. There was a shop called this in Notting Hill when I was little, for ages. Had the sweetest mix of finds and things and my Dad would always let me browse on the way to the library. The 1st 'big' word I learnt and I used to practise and practise to learn how to say it, under my breath! if I ever open a shop or business, THIS is what I shall call it!

SOLILOQUY. Just because it sounds beautiful.

MAMA. When spoken by my children to me especially.

Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious. Best heard from a 4 year old trying to learn it.

EDELWEISS. because it means home, heart, music to my very soul.

BLUEBELL. Because edelweiss reminded me of my joint favourite flower. Because they mean summer holisayds in switzeralnd, picking wild clochettes dans les Alpes......

FREESIA. Ok, tied three times fave flowers! This is a word and smell combo, if a word could be fragranced, this one I would love the most! The flowers I always bought my Mum with my pocket money for mother's day to put in her vase on the piano.

dostoprimechatyelnosti. phonetic Russian word for 'touristical sites' and for a long time, the single longest hard to say word our teacher taught us. Memories of visiting Russia at 15, learning Russian in a broom cupboard for a classroom as they never expected 8 people would want to learn it, a whiteboard the size of a sheet of A4. The longest word until we learnt 'obsyheabrazavatyelnaya', which is one syllable longer.

MODULAR. actually, the word is ugly for something essential: stuff that changes, morphs, shapeshifts. OK, I change that, instead of modular I say go the word MORPH. For the Plasticine blob who made me laugh as a child, and for the fact life should ever be thus: changing, morphing, shifting.

bumblesweet, that addition was inspired by you: you see, the list can start with one word and continually do the switcheroo! The list can morph and should!
