Tui silhouette

Near the Waitarere Beach Road entrance to Waitarere Forest north block.

 

Heard a tui as I finished my run.

 

I looked up and there is one hanging upside down feeding.

 

It's late afternoon in winter and the sun is low putting the tui into silhouette.

 

This was on full zoom so a bit grainy unfortunately.

 

I like it as wallpaper :)
