11. Inspect Valves

Look at the tops of each valve. They should be smooth and shiny along with the corresponding lash adjuster. If you see dinged valves, then the corresponding lash adjuster is probably bad and should be thoroughly cleaned, but probably replacement is a much better solution. (I cleaned mine and it didn't solve the problem)
