5. Remove Rocker Assembly

Carefully remove the bolts retaining the rocker assembly in place. Again make sure you note which way the spacers are facing so they are installed the same way. Once you start to loosen anything, the lash adjusters will start to come out. Try to keep them inside the rockers if at all possible so you can compare the rockers to the valves for signs of damage. Don't do like I did and toss them all into one container. The dealer uses little metal clips that are C shaped that go over the top and bottom of the rocker to hold the lash adjusters in place.
