River Thames: Shornemead Light
Taken on the 18th November 2012 and uploaded on the 27th of December 2025.
Two or three miles east of Gravesend, nearing the end of the stretch of river known as Gravesend Reach; in the distance, two ships are turning into Gravesend Reach.
The river has all sorts of different "looks" - depending on the light, cloud cover, wind, direction of the water (the Thames is tidal) and whatever things I haven't mentioned and don't know about...
