Faded Smarties sign.
A faded sign for a Smarties ice cream (?) - it's on the rear of the cafe at Gordon Promenade, Gravesend so will catch a lot of sunlight.
I remember Smarties from when I was young; made by Rowntrees, not Nestle. For non-UK viewers, Smarties were a "chocolate bean" with a coloured shell, famous for having the worst additives imaginable, which may explain the caveat on the sign. A US equivalent might be M&Ms. But Only Smarties Have The Answer.
They came in a cardboard tube with a plastic top: my last experience of anything to do with Smarties prior to this was finding a LOT of the plastic tops washed up miles down river - I probably still have some so if I can find them I'll take a photo...
