We know a song about that, don't we ?
About 10 miles east of Gravesend on the River Thames: the river wall at Cliffe Marshes. Below the wall are a few places where whatever is in the river and shouldn't be gathers: bits of wood from small to huge, bits of boats, fire extinguishers, oil cans and pressurized metal containers - and plastic things.
There are a great many Smartie tube tops, for example: for those beyond the UK Smarties are (were ?) a brand of chocolate 'beans' in various colours, which came in a paper tube with a brightly coloured 'top' - on the inside of the 'top' was a letter, sometimes a capital, sometimes lower case. I suppose you were meant to collect them and perhaps they would help you "learn your letters" or spell polysyllabic scientific words, who knows.
And this: the song, of course, is "Big Yellow Taxi" but I doubt this is actually it (THE big yellow taxi) but it might be. I mean, she would never chuck a toy in the sea ?
