Timing Leakage
Judging by the shadows and the harsh blue sky, it's right about noon time in Lubbock, Texas. The West Texas & Lubbock is in town making the transfer with the BNSF in the old Santa Fe yard downtown. I don't envy the engineer this afternoon, his ex-Katy GP7 has the railroad equivalent of 4-40 air conditioning. That won't do much on 10 mile-per-hour track. At least he can count on the wind; it never stops blowing in Lubbock.
