'Kiss From a Rose'
The synesthetic image I see when the big 'I've been kissed by a rose' bridge in the song plays. And the choruses.
This isn't it, but this is supposed to represent the woods and grass off the side of the trail leading to the cabin in Quebec, in the land owned by my paternal grandpa. Early in the morning just before dawn, with a lot of blue.
What it actually is is the woods off the Barron River in Algonquin Park last year. But it looks identical to what I see so it works.
I used a fake duotone effect in Photoshop to get the blue, which is the primary color that the image in my head basically is. Most of the song is a light blue like this to me.
The song is by Seal and was written/produced for the Batman Forever movie in 1995. Joel Schumacher directed the movie, as well as the music video for the song as well.
I think I derive a lot of the blue from the fact that when I was very young and saw the music video, it had a lot of blue in it (lots of blue light) so it influenced how I saw it synesthetically. As a result I also associate this blue tinge when I visually think of the year 1995.
