On March 18, 2011, Portland Trail Blazer Marcus Camby & his daughter helped Boys & Girls Club members plant 25 trees at a Friends of Trees event along the I-205 Multi-Use Path in the Lents neighborhood. The planting was part of the Blazers' Make It Better campaign and part of Friends of Trees' three-year partnership to green the path with ODOT, Metro, East Multnomah Soil & Water Conservation District, and more than a dozen other groups.
