It's been a long time since I had a historic ship photo. The sinking of this ship was the greatest maritime tragedy ever. She was evacuating Germans from the advancing Russian armies from Gotenhafen on Jan. 30, 1945. She was torpedoed by the Russian sub S-13 with the loss of 9,000-10,000 lives.
