It was one of those trips to the store, this afternoon. On the way home, I told the girls to bundle up as soon as we got home because I was kicking them out into the backyard for a while.
"You can't kick us out!"
"...Oh yes I can!"
So, two little girls bundled themselves up and were banished to the backyard for all of 20 minutes or so. It only lasted long enough for me to steal a few shots of their aimless wandering, unload and put away all the groceries, and sort through the mail. The same two girls that beg to go outside all summer long, hate to miss a minute of recess, and love to run and scream, couldn't stand their exile for more than 3 minutes at a time.
"When can we come in?....Can we come in yet?.....Can we come in NOWWWW?????"
I can't help laughing.
