Childhood Doll Family
This is a recreation of my childhood doll family in the 1960's. This is pretty much what it looked like, although some of these dolls are repros.
Bubblecut Barbie was the mom, because she looked old to me : ) She is a repro. She is wearing Fun at the Fair from 1965.
She had five daughters....Francie, TNT Barbie, Talking Barbie, Tammy and Pepper.
Francie is the only doll here that was originally mine. She is a TNT Francie, made from 1966-71. She is most likely and early one. She is wearing Fresh As A Daisy from 1966.
TNT Barbie is a repro and is wearing a repro of Smasheroo from 1968-69. (My Francie often wore this outfit).
Repro Marlo Flip Barbie is standing in for my Talking Barbie. They have the same face and similar hair, and I thought my talker was the prettiest Barbie ever. She's wearing Fun-n-Games from 1965.
Tammy is a vintage doll (1962) and is wearing Travel Along.
Pepper is also vintage (1963-65) and is wearing her original outfit from 1963.
Ken married Francie and they lived in the New Dream House. Ken is vintage (1962-65) and is wearing Rally Gear from 1969-70.
Sadly, missing from this happy family is Abraham Lincoln, who came from the Lincoln shop in Springfield, IL. He married TNT Barbie in a glorious wedding, but has long since been lost, never to be replaced. May he RIP.
Thanks everyone for looking! I'm going to be taking a break from dolls for awhile, maybe just doing a little bit of minis : )
