Nonstop Action!
An early trip to Palmer. I can't find anything about this scene in my notes, but I suspect it is 1989 or so. A mix of CV and GT Gp38s are heading what appears to be away from the diamond as a trio of CV green and yellow Gp9s and a CN caboose wait on the interchange lead to CR. With Conrail's Boston and Albany line crossing the CV, Palmer Mass could be a busy place. Or, you could sit around for hours without a single thing turning a wheel, like the rest of New England.
