Thaipusam - Under an overpass not far from Batu Caves, Kuala Lumpur 2015

 

A hindu priest blessing an elderly woman (bottom left hand corner) that just moments before shaved her head and sacrificed her hair to the gods. She then rubs a paste mixture of turmeric powder and water over the scalp which gives the bright orange colour effect on her head.
