Optimism

In March 1969 the prototype Bristol VRLL Eastern Coach Works bodied double deck motor coach for Standerwick, fleet number 50, was in Victoria Coach Station. There was so much optimism and excitement for this and subsequent vehicles of the batch at the time, but I think they eventually became a liability due to a number of problems in their design.
