Learning to Drive

Newcastle Corporation - later Tyne and Weir P.T.E. - 190 JVK (originally fleet number 190, later 992) was a 1960 built (entering service in January 1961) Leyland PDR1/1 "Atlantean" with an Alerxander 78-seat body. By July 13th 1971 the bus was being used for driver training and is seen here in the Newcastle suburb of Walker.
