nytimes' choc chip cookie

the best choc chip cookie i have ever made. the dark color is b/c i chopped up a choc block instead of buying choc discs. and i chopped too finely, so some choc melted into the dough. also, some of the choc i used splintered really easily. *coughlindtcough*

 

and yes, that is my garden in the background. had to go out onto the patio to get the only available natural light at 7am.
