This is a Virginia Range mare rescued by Hidden Valley Wild Horse Protection Fund ~ Approximately 150 Virginia Range horses were rescued from kill buyers bids at slaughter auction since Fall of 2012!
This mare is a once wild horse of the Virginia Range mountains in Nevada! Recently resolutions were recently put in place, allowing a largely known advocate group to buy them when they are removed in the future, a much better option than the slaughter auction! Google ~ American WIld Horse Preservation Campaign!
She looks like she is dreaming of the good old days, and her old home on the range. :(
Save America's Wild horses from slaughter & extinction! Don't believe all the spin that is fed to the public about them. Educate yourself through other channels, other than the managing agencies & the horse haters.
