One High Line
Pair of buildings designed by the architectural firm Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG). As they rise, the towers re-orient towards the west to maximize the light afforded each apartment unit as well as views of the Hudson River. The twisting geometry at the corners of the towers also reduces the overall bulk of the buildings and creates additional separation between the towers. However, the towers have been described as "two drunken figures on the verge of keeling over."
