Crochet Granny Square Patch Work Blanket. By Sharron Wilcock

This blanket is made out of my various experimental Granny Squares. I make cushion covers out of many of them.

Granny Square is a very relaxing stitch to do and I can do it quickly.

I make lots and lots of things over the course of a year.

 

I decided to turn these ones into a patchwork throw for one of my offspring.

I put them all on the floor arranged them in a random order and then I stitched them together. I like that it is brightly coloured, cosy and warm.

 

As I also, love photography I could not resist capturing an image of my design and craft work i put it here for everyone to see.
