ping tom memorial park is one of the most industrial of chicago's parks. it's a triangle bordered by an overpass, the industrial canal, a railroad bridge, and an elevated train line. also where season 6 of the amazing race ended. the field of contestants was quickly winnowed by the numerous mechanical dangers awaiting them at ping tom.
