The amazingly curvaceous set comprises one settee, two armchairs and two side chairs. The butterfly-shaped back of the settee and the matching chairs are pierce carved on the crests with delicate Chinese fretwork, scrolls, flowers, and foliates as seen in Chippendale furniture. The stiles and oval splats are channel carved, while the fine scroll beading on the apron continues down the cabriole legs and trifid feet.
