citroen B-18 front
There's a new work of art on the drawing board at Citroen. The French manufacturer is putting the finishing touches to a replacement for the top-selling Picasso – based on the stunning C-SportLounge concept.
Codenamed the B-81, the MPV is aiming to break new ground in the people carrier sector, rivalling the Ford S-MAX for both size and space.
Based on the same platform as the C4, the SportLounge is hailed as a “premium sporty compact van”, and claimed to merge the style and performance of a coupé with the comfort and practicality of an MPV. There have been several modifications made to the original concept, which was first unveiled at the 2005 Frankfurt Motor Show, but the car still manages to maintain an elegant yet sporty look.
