The Aberdeen White Star Line triple screw steamer 'Demonthenes', as it appeared in the February 1911 issue of Railway & Travel Monthly. Built by Harland & Wolff in 1911, it was used on the route to Australia via South Africa. The ship was scrapped in 1931. The artist is Henry Branston Freer.
