There were two Odeon cinemas in London's Leicester Square; The Odeon Leicester Square itself, opening in 1937 and this one, the nearby Odeon West End, designed by Scottish architect Andrew Mather (1891-1938) opening in 1930, which closed at the end of 2014 and is currently being demolished to make way for a hotel. This view was taken last month but has since disappeared beneath plastic sheeting. Posters for the last two films, 'Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part One' and 'Interstellar', can still be seen.
