Workers at the Rochford factory of Lesney Products board buses for home in May 1983. By this time, most were ex-Eastern Counties Bristol FLFs, although a few London Transport RTs were still employed, including RT4399 heading for the Thames Delta.

 

I later rode into Southend on board RT3150, my last time on a non-preserved RT.
