Steps beside Tunnel of New Road

This was taken at the western side of the tunnel shown in “Unused Tunnel under Sakuragi Junior High School.”

 

The ground descends down steeply toward the north this area. The slope has made it difficult to make a road from north to south. That should be the reason why the tunnel was built for a new road.
