Step 7: I use nail buffers from the $1 store as my sander. I also found this great flexible sanding block at an estate sale, but they also sell them at Home Depot. Or use a light sandpaper, but unless it has a block behind it, you can "burn" a spot by sanding too hard. For this example, I used the black sanding block to remove most of the color in the background, but wanted a faint outline of the bird stamp to remain.
