EARLY BRISTOL LS5G
Once again Feethams at Darlington once again 1961.
This is a ver early Bristol LS5G, probably dating from 1952, waiting to depart for Hurworth.
Hurworth is a delightful village about five miles south of Darlington on the banks of the Tees. The river Tees separates Durtham from North Yorkshire.
Hurwoth has a lovely pub , trust me I know. In my late teens and early twenties, on odd occasions, I would visit my aunt and uncle in Darlington, whose house was about three miles from Hurworth. One of the highlights of these visits would be a Sunday morning walk with Uncle (Don't tell your Aunt Edna) John to Hurwoth for a couple of pints, then back home to one of Aunt Edna's beautiful Sunday lunches.
