The hygiene kits include items like a collapsable gerry can (water container), towels, body and laundry soap, and more. The kits distributed in Sitio Purisima were packaged by Typhoon Haiyan survivors who are currently homeless and living in the Palo Chancery that also houses the CRS office in Palo.
Palo and the surrounding area were struck by Typhoon Haiyan on November 8, 2013. It is considered the strongest storm ever to make landfall.
