843 Chestnut carriage house in 1938

Carriage house has 2 levels with a staircase to the 2nd floor.There is a water tank in a closet on the 2nd floor. Photo taken by WPA in 1938 for City of Springfield. WPA pictures of Spfld are in the building dept. in Spfld. Dr. Redden the dentist was living here then.
