RE: British Army Training Unit Kenya
Si Russel, the Master Chef at the British Army Training Unit Kenya (BATUK), planned a Big Curry night for all of the BATUK staff.
The event was a huge success raising £780, a fantastic effort for a 50 person camp.
The guys of BATUK, their families and guests had a great night of quizzes and of course they sampled the many Curries Si prepared and cooked.
Si, a loyal supporter of ABF The Soldiers' Charity is now on another mission he is running a trip for a 10 man BATUK team to go to south Africa in June and meet the England team and watch one of their early matches. Si has also started to help the local Orphanage out during his stay in Kenya.
