This vehicle has an interesting history, beginning life as a testbed/development vehicle for Dennis and originally fitted with Marshall bodywork. In 1999 the vehicle was stripped of its bodywork and the chassis exported to South Africa where it was rebodied by Neoplan using Alexander parts and spent several years as a demonstrator. Then in 2003 the Dart was repatriated, being bought by Cavalier.
