There's A New Kid In Town
It's always exciting to see juvenile birds at the feeders. It tells me we have a new generation of visitors to look forward to, and that probably either mom and/or dad has shown their fledgling(s) where to go for something to eat.
And so, I was very excited when this juvenile male Red-Bellied Woodpecker showed up. He seems to prefer this seed log, but has been spotted checking out some of the Goodie Bowls, too.
