Brown Thrashers usually forage under the feeders closest to the nearby bushes, keeping close to cover. But they do occasionally rush over to one of the Goodie Bowls when they've been freshly filled in the mornings.
The target in mind for them is usually a peanut, which they will grab, and then rush off with it so they can bash it on the ground, breaking it into smaller pieces.
