Goldfinches Galore
With the recent cold weather we've been having lately, we've noticed an increase in the number of Goldfinches showing up at the feeders.
Today, with the arrival of Winter Storm Enzo and the snow that came with it, the Goldfinches seemed to be coming out of the woodwork! Just about any feeder that had some kind of seed, also had a handful of Goldies!
This swing feeder, filled with a mix of pepper treated nuts and sunflower meats, became very popular as the snow continued throughout the day.
Taken through one of the sunroom windows, so not as clear as I'd like.
