The Great Cicada Invasion 2024
Consider this a PSA for those of you who are about to be inundated by the Great Cicada Invasion of 2024. You know who you are
Grabbed some videos of the cicadas flying back and forth, in, out and all around just ONE of the trees in our front yard. They seem to prefer the gardenia bushes and this magnolia tulip tree in our front yard. The backyard is mostly full of their shells, or exoskeletons, but those are also everywhere.
It's not action packed, almost three minutes of nothing but bugs. But it seems like a lot of them in just the span of three minutes, in one tree.
Oh, that white noise you hear in the background - the cicadas.
