It's A Lunch Date
Shortly after filling the feeders I decided to do a bit of birdwatching now that the temps are a bit milder.
It wasn't long before I heard a woodpecker calling from one of our pine trees, so I went on high alert, trying to pinpoint the location of that call. And there he was - a Red Bellied Woodpecker!
I grabbed this shot and was surprised to see a second one right there, too. Grabbed a few more shots but they scooted up further among the branches, so no more clear shots.
It wasn't until looking at the photos later that I could see this is a male, on the right, and a female, on the left.
