Juvenile birds can be noisy, frantic and impatient when it comes to feeding. But I do believe juvenile Starlings take that noisy, frantic and impatient description to a whole new level.
Starlings are not my favorite birds but over the weekend I found myself almost feeling sorry for this attentive parent who, regardless of what it did, was never able to calm the frantic cries of its starving, needy, self-centered babies. And I also admired it for its never ceasing efforts to constantly feed those youngsters.
But ... maybe it's time for those big babies to grow up and start looking for their own food. I mean look how big they are!
