A September Surprise
While out filling the bird feeders this weekend, I happened to notice our rose bush was blooming. Or, to be more precise, this single rose was blooming.
It's been so hot and dry this summer I didn't expect to see any more blooms after spring. What a lovely reminder that cooler temps - and autumn - truly are just around the corner.
