Replacing our vintage Avro Lancaster, which occupied this spot for more than 40 years and taken off her pedestal for restoration; these two full scale, replica WW2 fighters are on display at Jackson Park here in Windsor. A beautiful memorial for Windsor and Essex counties fallen soldiers. On the right, there is a Hawker Hurricane, and on the left, a Supermarine Spitfire.
